Mike advised that a new engineer was hired for the Hike/Bike Trail due to lack of anything being done. Also, Weeping Water is still in the workings on the Hwy 50 issues.

John Plucknett was introduced as our guest speaker and he represented the Cass County Economic Development. He gave the names of each member of the CCED Board. Their goal is to help existing businesses as well as bring in more small businesses. They act as a matchmaker/coordinator for any possible economic developments. They also are a resource for government agencies. They are presently funded by the County Commissioners and private businesses. For Weeping Water to get more involved, we need to come to their meeting and let them know what the town is looking for in the way of economic development.

Barb Davis made a motion to adjourn, 2nd by Dave Elm, motion carried.

Respectfully submitted
Betty Welte, Secretary
