Weeping Water Wrestling Invitational
Weeping Water High School hosted their annual High School Wrestling Invitational last Saturday, January 12. Even though the Weeping Water boys were wrestling many tough competitors, they did a wonderful job of representing our school. The team ended up placing 4th in the very large meet. Individual places were as follows: Billy Schreiner-3rd, Jace Keckler-4th, Garrett McSorley-3rd, Johnny Duncan-4th, Shelton Mozena-4th, TJ Bickford-1st, Phillip Rhodes-2nd, and Alex Wessels-3rd. Overall they did a great job in the meet and worked their hardest. Congratulations wrestlers!!

Local Walking Program and Blood Pressure Monitoring
The State Farm Office in Weeping Water will now be a place where blood pressure can be taken and where information about the walking program can be obtained. Linda Conrad has agreed to have a room set aside and self monitoring blood pressure equipment available for anyone who would like to check their blood pressure. If there are any questions about the equipment, the office personnel will be there to help. Information about the walking program at the school can be obtained here and they will keep track of the times the school will be available for walking. They also have a map of the areas to walkk and how many times around the school make a mile, etc. Alegent Health has donated the equipment and the walking program information.
