 Junior High Girls Basketball Game
The Weeping Water Junior High Girls Basketball team played their first game of the season Monday night and brought home a win and a loss to start off the season. The girls are split into two teams, an "A" team and a "B" team. The "B" team was the first game of the evening. The score was very close throughout the entire game but in the last quarter Elmwood-Murdock pulled away and Weeping Water's "B" team lost with a score of 9-11.
The next team to play was the "A" team. You could tell from the very start that the game was going to be very close. The teams battled back and forth until the game ended with Weeping Water only one point ahead of Elmwood-Murdock with an ending score of 21-20. Both teams did a great job playing a well-known tough team in our community. Congratulations on the win!
