“Night Wing”

 

The Lofte Community Theatre would like to announce that it will be hosting The United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, “Night Wing” for the second annual Veteran’s Day concert.  “Night Wing” plays a variety of Top 40, classic rock, and country.  Come and enjoy this great band while also paying tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

When:  Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. (doors open at 1:30 p.m.)

Where:  Lofte Community Theatre (15841 Manley Rd., Manley, NE)

Cost:  FREE

Downtown Pep Rally

    The Weeping Water PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is selling stadium chairs in order to earn money to purchase items for the elementary school.  The PTO has purchased many items for the school over the years such as new playground equipment and many classroom supplies.  The stadium chairs cost $40 for one and $75 for two.  They hold up to 350 lbs and are very good quality.  What a great idea for Christmas gifts!  If you are interested in purchasing some chairs, please call Brandy Ahrens, PTO president, at 297-0876.  Thank you for your support.
