Limestone Days Celebration

The Limestone Day Celebration was a huge success this year! There were so many activities to participate in there was no way you could possibly see it all! Here are a few highlights of the fun and exciting weekend.

Presentation of the American Flag at the beginning of the parade by Weeping Water’s American Legion. The National Anthem was beautifully sung by Steven Falcone at the beginning of the parade.

The Cass County Renegades played a great game the night of Limestone Days, but unfortunately lost to the Kansas Kaos.

Beautiful fireworks were shot off at the end of the football game to celebrate America’s freedom.

Miss Weeping Water
The candidates for 2007 are Ashton Abbott, Michaela Brinkman, and Brianna Hammer all of which are 2007 graduates of Weeping Water high school. Candidates for Miss Weeping Water 2007 presented their speeches on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the American Legion Hall in Weeping Water. It was very clear to everyone that this was going to be a very hard decision for the judges. All three candidates did a wonderful job presenting their speech. The winners name was announced before the Renegades football game Saturday, June 30th. All of the candidates did a wonderful job, but the title of Miss Weeping Water 2007 went to Michaela Brinkman. Congratulations Michaela and good luck in the Miss Cass County contest!
