Sarpy and Cass County COVID-19 Vaccinations

Currently available to residents of Sarpy and Cass Counties aged 12 and older.

Aged 12-17 years: may receive Pfizer only
Aged 18 and older: may receive Pfizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson

It is now easier than ever to get a COVID-19 vaccine! Many pharmacies, doctor’s offices and clinics now carry the vaccine. To find a vaccine provider near you, go to Vaccine Finder from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and search by zip code and vaccine type. If you need assistance with this website, call 1-800-232-0233.

The Health Department cannot schedule appointments at other pharmacies, doctor’s offices or clinics. Please contact each clinic directly for details and appointments.

The Sarpy/Cass Health Department continues to offer vaccine clinics at our office in Papillion. Special outreach clinics are also happening in various locations.

Obituary for Neva Frances Stubbs (Chambers)

Neva Frances (Chambers) Stubbs

Neva Frances (Chambers) Stubbs age 72, passed quietly in the evening of August 6, 2021 with her loving family beside her. Neva, was born June 13, 1949 in San Francisco, CA to Neil A. and Frances Chambers. She graduated from Pacifica High School in 1967. Neva moved to Weeping Water in 1969 and she attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she met Brent Stubbs, they were united in marriage at Fort Eustis, VA on 26 September 1970. During Brent's 26 year of military service spanning over 30 years, Neva worked as a waitress and cook before becoming a successful real estate agent. She never met a stranger, she made friends with one and all. She loved to entertain and was happiest when cooking and preparing food for all occasions. She was preceded in death by her Dad and Mom, and a sister Toni Lee Lawhern. She is survived by her husband Brent for 50 years, her son Kenneth, his wife Julie, their children Meghan and Jareth, from Burlington, NC, Neva's daughter Heather and Granddaughter Isabel of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by her brother Neil Chambers of Weeping Water.

The QUACKOFF is back and going to be better then ever! 2021 is going to have some exciting changes made! Starting this year we will be racing the ducks on the last Saturday in September, we've froze our butts off for the last 40 years let's warm it up for the next 40!! In addition to the usual duck races we will be starting off the day with a cornhole tournament to get you warmed up for racing and we will have a variety of food trucks lined up.
